In Germany there is a separation of religion and state. Everyone is free to choose and practice their religion. There are many religious communities in Hamburg.

- The Evangelical Church in Germany offers the Ukrainian Bible online and free of charge. The Bible text was published by the Ukrainian Bible Society and is particularly popular among Ukrainian Orthodox Christians.
